Carrie Martinez

Carrie Martinez is a visionary artist and muralist specializing in mystical surrealism, fantasy dreamscapes, and archetypes of the divine feminine. Her dreamlike subjects are embellished with timeless beauty and magic realism to stir the imagination and inspire the soul. Her lifelong interest in meditation, lucid dreaming, astronomy, and mysticism are the basis for her art, and she often includes symbolism to convey this exploration. Carrie is currently working on a collection of tarot-inspired paintings for an oracle card deck. She regularly paints live at art shows and music events, and her paintings are available for solo or group gallery exhibitions. Her studio is in Gainesville, Florida, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Together they are the owners of Visionary CrossFit, a combination gym, gallery, and studio space that encourages the transformation of mind, body, and spirit through fitness, art and music.
