The Florida Museum is hosting a screening of “The Dark Knight,” released in 2008 and rated PG-13, at the museum on Friday, July 6, at 7 p.m. There will be an opening reception at 6 p.m. and visitors will have the chance to discuss the film with a panel of scientists, artists and special effects experts. The museum and Creative B will screen free movies and explore the balance between science and art. The panel discussion starts at 7 p.m., followed by the movie. The museum’s permanent exhibits will be open to the public for extended hours until 10 p.m. Parental discretion is advised.
