UF School of Art + Art History

Organized within the College of the Arts, the School of Art + Art History plays an important role in the academic life of the university and in the community. The school has 27 full-time faculty, 300 undergrad students and more than 120 graduate students. Degree programs include the B.A., B.F.A., M.A., M.F.A. and Ph.D. Areas of study include visual art studies, art history, art education, graphic design, museum studies, and studio art. University Galleries—University Gallery, Focus Gallery and Grinter Gallery— also provide laboratories for professional and student artwork. The University of Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
