Gainesville Master Chorale

The Gainesville Master Chorale, (formerly Gainesville Civic Chorus) has been part of the Gainesville Arts Community since 1976. Led by Music Director, Dr. Will Kesling, the choir rehearses Mondays at 7:00 at the University of Florida School of Music starting each August.

The Master Chorale presents an annual concert series that includes The Sounds of The Season the first Sunday in December. In addition, the Master Chorale collaborates with other performing organizations to perform some of the world’s most renowned masterworks with world-class soloists.

The Gainesville Civic Chamber Singers, a subset of the Master Chorale, was formed in 1993 to reach additional audiences in our community. Chamber Singers perform quality choral music including, original arrangements, patriotic songs and light opera.

Summer Sing was reintroduced in 2015 as a community service. No auditions, everyone is welcome.
