Band Leader, Little Jake & The Soul Searchers  Little Jake Mitchell is an authentic blues child prodigy and R&B singer who works as hard today as he did in his appearances at the Apollo Theater on tour as “Mr. Excitement” promoting the singles he recorded on Detroit’s IMPACT Records (circa 1966-1967), or at the Pensacola Blues Festival when B. B. King encouraged him to stay in show business. Little Jake & The Soul Searchers is what you get when you combine Jake with three horns and a blues-to-the-bone rhythm section laced with road-seasoned veterans of Chitlin’ Circuit show bands.  Little Jake always comes to the stage to entertain! The Soul Searchers bring a steadfast commitment to the music they love and an old-school presentation style rarely seen since the ‘60s.
