When I began to lose my eyesight in my left eye, I had two major worries: first, that I wouldn’t be able to read anymore, my left eye being nearsighted while my right was farsighted, and second, that I wouldn’t be able to take pictures. I can read. And I can take pictures. Just as in reading, I’ve had to make adjustments, and some of those adjustments have been for the better.
Most of my pictures reflect my intrigue with the natural world. I like to look close, see the small and the large. Photography has taught me patience, to live and watch in the moment, and to savor the small things that the world has to offer.
