Lights on Afterschool

The Boys and Girls Club and Children’s Trust of Alachua County will host, “Lights on After-School.” The purpose of the event is to showcase the importance of after-school programs.

Also to highlight the activities and programs offered to children and teens. During the event, there will be community organizations providing resources. Also there will be fun activities such as bounce houses, carnival games, hobby hangouts and food trucks.

 Throughout the event, there are plans to have community organizations and businesses set up their cars for a truck or treat display. Children in the community will enjoy fun fall activities while wearing their favorite Halloween costume. During the truck or treat display, it could be a great opportunity for families to learn more about the amazing programs.
